Weekends mean the days to enjoy, to play, to relax and mix with friends. For MMUIEM, weekends mean the same too.
On the 27th of June 2009, after successfully organised the "Power Saving and Quality" talk in collaboration with IEM Malacca in the morning, MMUIEM together with IEM Malacca organised a friendly match between MMUIEM and IEM Malacca. The bowling friendly match took place at the Ampang Superbowl in Mahkota Parade.
MMUIEM was represented by 15 members while IEM Malacca branch sent out 10 members. All the players were divided into five groups with 5 members in each groups. The friendly match lasted for about two hours. The friendly match was organised in a happy environment with laughter and joke because most of the players were still well below the normal standard. After playing for 2 hours, only several players managed to record marks more than 100 for a single round. It seems like MMUIEM needs more members who are talented in bowling !
Below are some of the screenshots during the bowling friendly match.

At a silent night on the 25th of June 2009, something unusual happen in a small room at somewhere near Multimedia University. There were 4 persons in the room, 1 man with another 3 young guy at the age of 21. The man and a young guy was seen playing guitar while humming beautiful sound, another young guy was playing piano while the last young guy was sitting besides, enjoying the beauty of music.
The "unusual thing" mentioned above is nothing but a musical sharing session between the members of MMUIEM and the members of IEM Malacca branch, Encik Othman. The members from MMUIEM are Vinson, Jackson and Ping. Below are some of the pictures taken during the sharing session...
Food For Thought: Engineers might be described as a dull profession. It is true, but engineers can have another hidden side ! I mean the creative and talented side! When engineers meet music, there might be spark too. MMUIEM is hoping to change the traditional perception that the public have towards engineering profession. Engineer got talent too! MMUIEM got talent too!
